Adrienne Denzik Robertson, DVM
Biography:
Adrienne Denzik Robertson was born in south Louisville and
raised on her family run horse farm in Fairdale, Kentucky.
Growing up Dr. Robertson rode, as well as competed in
various styles of riding including Hunter jumper, dressage,
cross country, saddleseat, western performance and
contest. Dr. Robertson was a “horse person” before she
became a veterinarian and her extensive background with
different breeds and styles has been an asset to her patients
and clients. She was a riding instructor and trainer at
Bannon Woods Farm in Fairdale, KY for over 10 years, and
developed and ran the summer camp program until her
acceptance to veterinary school. She actively competed in
her area 4-H, AQHA, and local hunter circuit as well as
served as a 4-H co-leader in Jefferson County. Dr.
Robertson worked at Shivley Animal Clinic (small animal) as
a head technician for 6 years.
After obtaining her Bachlors degree in Biology from
Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky, Dr. Robertson
attended veterinary school at Auburn University in Auburn,
Alabama. She completed an Ambulatory externship at
Hagyard Medical Institute in Lexington Kentucky as well as
an internal medicine and surgical externship at Bonnie Brae
Equine Hospital in Trion, North Carolina. Her preceptorship
was at Shambley Equine Hospital in Summerville, South
Carolina where she broadened her emergency medicine and
surgical skills. Afterwards, Dr. Robertson came home to
Kentucky to work as an intern at “world renouned”
Woodford Equine Hospital in Versailles. She presently
works in the Fairdale, KY area as a sole practitioner, with
plans to build an equine hospital to serve Jefferson and
surrounding counties.
